Zabs over at Mommyzabs.com is hosting a group writing project on These Three Things...
So here goes. These three things are why I love Jesus Christ the Lord.
Jeremiah 17:7-8 7
"But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. 8 He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit."
1. How blessed am I? Although from the outside it may look dreary I can't believe how lucky I am to hear His voice. I seek Him and He finds me. EVERYTIME. Even when the world thinks I am wrong He gently takes me and whispers to me "Peace my child","I am here". I love how gentle and yet how firm He is with me. There are no grey areas with His peace and so the world doesn't need to make sense.
2. He never changes, you cannot uproot the Lord. He is a rock onto which NO man can move. When you start living for God you change all the time... It can be overwhelming and scary. But with Him you always know that He is the same today, yesterday and forvever.
3.His silence becomes my answer. Seek Him every second you can. Know that He is working. Draw your strength from His glory. Never fear that he has forsaken you. Those thoughts belong to satan himself. God will never forsake His children! It is written!
These 3 things are only a fraction of my love for you Jesus. I am not worthy of you. Thank you for loving me. I can feel your arms around me... I love your hands Jesus, they are so strong and so calm. You make my heart grow bigger when I think of you. I can't wait to see you your face, to touch you and thank you. I will fall on my knees to praise you O God! I will love you with everything I have.......
