Thanks to Mamablogga for this great group writing project!
I never pass up the opportunity to write about my angel baby so here goes:
The best things about this age is:
Well Mr. Joshua Troy is 22 months old now. He was never really a baby. Really,
as soon as he was born via c-section mind you so he shouldv'e been really drowsy; he was all bug eyed like "hey guys I'm here what's going on"? He was born ready.
Fast forward to now: This kid is simply amazing. He never ceases to amaze me. He loves his mommy(aww shucks), he loves to swing, read books, and he loves animals. He has this deep empathy that he was born with. He will be a caretaker of some sort when he's an adult I can tell.
O.k. the thing I really love? He loves Jesus already. Yes, I know it may seem like he's too young but praise the Lord he knows who his Savior is. First off, when he hears any song with Jesus in it he raises his hands to the Lord. This started at a young age. He was probably 10 mths old or so. Also he was never a snuggler when he was a newborn, he slept with his arms stretched out wide. I know I know but it's not a coincidence. He is annointed!
Also, he reads the Bible. Mom you can testify to this one when you comment.. Just yesterday when I was on the phone with my mom he comes up to me and says " I wanna read Bible". His favorite story is of Noah and all the animals.
Lastly, I was having a terrible night the other day. I was grouchy and so at dinner the kids were at the table and I sat their food in front of them and walked away to keep doing kithcen stuff. Usually I sit with them and pray and then eat with them... So as I was washing dishes out of the corner of my eye I see my baby bowing his head and singing and then he looks up and say's "Thank you Lord, Amen"! He prayed without me! How awesome is that?
So, I love this age and I love this kid. He is so very precious and he will be a man of great faith. He will walk with the Lord, and always look to Him for wisdom. His faith will always be first in his life and satan will never have a stronghold on him. I declare in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost that Jesus will reign supreme forever and always in my child's heart. Amen.
O.K. READERS NOW IT'S YOUR TURN. WHAT DO YOU LOVE AOUT THIS AGE?
